Why PS and bhp differ
PS (Pferdestärke) is defined as 735.5 watts, while a British horsepower is 745.7 watts. So a PS is about 1.4% smaller. The same engine is quoted as 150 PS by a German brand and about 148 bhp in a British magazine. For kW, use the kW to hp converter.
